Our Staff

We know that our office is only as effective and as welcoming as the people who work in it, which is why we take pride in our friendly and well-trained team members! As a team, we are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment in a supportive and nurturing environment. We promise to speak candidly with you about possible treatments as well as any risks and associated costs of treatment, and how treatment can address your individual needs as a patient. One of our main goals is to make sure that your entire orthodontic treatment process is comfortable and convenient!

Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Shelly-photoMy dental career began as a receptionist for my family dentist when I was in High School! After attending college for Dental Assisting, I worked over 15 years in General Dentistry. Over the last 10 years I have enjoyed a position as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, guiding patients through their orthodontic experience from start to finish.  I think that Orthodontics is life changing. Having a beautiful smile and the bite that fits properly, means a lifetime of wellness and confidence!

TammyI have worked in the lab for 20 years. I am married with two daughters and four granddaughters. When I’m not working, I enjoy music, camping, riding bikes, and festivals.

CoraI have worked in the medical field for 30 years. The past 25 years I have worked as a Clinical Assistant in dentistry. Having the opportunity to meet new people and the ability to help them improve their health, smile and confidence is what makes working in orthodontic dentistry a truly rewarding job! When I am not working part-time with Dr. Kurshuk I love spending time with my family, my children, grandchildren and time in Tennessee!

AmyI'm really excited to be joining this team of amazing people! Kids are my passion and I love to keep people smiling. So this job is perfect! A little bit about me...I have two amazing puppies to come home to every night. Also, when I'm not working, I'll usually be at the beach watching the sunsets - since Sturgeon Bay is my second home!

RachaelEveryone wants to put their best smile forward and that's what I see every week at Tip of the Mitt Orthodontics. It's awesome when our patients get excited about their transition and the confidence that it brings. When I'm not working within the practice, I'm with my family and friends. I'm passionate about God and have a deep appreciation for the art of design and music. I spend much of my free time singing.
